    Re:please critique.....(finally...lol)

    Phil,
You`re in luck by being close to Rutherford station.
Take Hackensack street into East Rutherford. Go straight past Paterson Ave (used to be Paterson Plank Rd) and when you see St. Josephs...

    Re:please critique.....(finally...lol)

I grew up very close to there. Used to play Little League a block from the plate girder bridge.
For some reason, I only remember Erie Lackawanna freights and the commuter trains.
    Plan looks good.

    Re:Micro-Ace 0-10-0T and 2-10-4T

If you are interested, I can find out how much they are here (in Japan).

    Why are asking about Tomix??

Micro-Ace is a separate Japanese company that isn't well known in the US.

    Rio,
Thanks for the reply. Why is it the answers jump out at you only AFTER you post the questions?

I think a Spectrum Prairie or Atlantic is next.
Would not mind a Spectrum saddle tank switcher either.

Re:Need help thinking outside the oval

    Dave,
It would probably help some people who haven't started their layout yet (*cough-looks in mirror-cough*) to post what you finally decided on and how you came to your final plan...for now.

    Re:Hey Fifer.

    Thanks Mike,
I have some Code 55 Atlas. The flex does look great, but the lack of turnout options is a hindrance. Even Tomix has a wye in N-scale (just released) along with curved turnouts, single...

    Re:Hey Fifer.

    Mike,
Thanks. Have seen some layouts on the web with Peco's current Code 55 and they looked pretty good. Not really holding my breath though.
