I probably have around 115 locomotives. I haven't counted lately. Well over 100 U.S. locomotives from varying eras, plus about a dozen British ones. Probably close to 20 steam, one or two electrics, and everything else is diesel.

    Total 978 items, including:
    - 49 steam locomotives, 26 Diesel (all 1st generation, A-B or A-A counted as one unit), 2 electric.
    - Split about 58% passenger trains, 42% freight but of course way more freight cars as average passenger train is only 6-7 cars. Estimate 240 passenger cars, subtract locos and the rest are freight cars.
    - 88 C&O coal hoppers, 74 B&O coal hoppers being longest freight.
    - 4 Christmas trains, 4 Halloween trains

Looking at my post from 2010 and my 4 locos makes me chuckle.... In the last month I picked up 2 PRR E-8s and two GG1s...
I have a bunch of F's and lots of steamers.
    Rolling stock..
I have at least 8 different passenger trains and matching locos.
Over 50 B&O Wagon Top boxcars
    Over 50 B&O hoppers
A number of MT collections that I happen to like..

Frankly I don't want to know exactly what I have..
My favorite computer game is "Stump The Spellchecker"...

12 working diesels (one still needs a decoder, going to try a LokSound, after I wasn't too impressed with the Digitrax sound decoders I have in the others)
    one FEF-3
and one frame and paint-stripped shell from a weathering job gone wrong waiting for me to pick up the courage to repaint in some leasing scheme

119 freight cars (with another 12 on pre-order right now... waiting for MTL to ship those 60ft high cubes)
and one UP Excursion train with water tenders to go with the FEF-3

Most of this is modern (90s or 2000s - ditchlights and reflective stripes), although there are a couple of 80s locos and rolling stock in there.

And I'm tempted to get a pair of zebra stripes, a consist of warbonnet F7s and maybe one or two of the last ATSF steam locos... though I have more than enough stuff on my plate that I should be getting to before that
