I found this last year while I was on my way home from work. This was taken just off I-70WB, underneath I 670 on the Kansas side. I had to spin around and went back to take a couple of pictures. I had never seen one of these before.

I have a few to post, probably in the next few days once I get them off my camera. Very cool stuff so far.

Here are some crew bunk cars for those of you modeling the during and shortly after the transition era. I shot these between 1980 and 90. A nice kit bash for a cheap old boxcar.
Guess I am going to tell my age, but I remember as a kid in Neenah Wis seeing these work cars in the Soo- Line yard.

Well, here's something I came across today about a block from my house. Obviously, it has started sinking after all of the rain we received this past weekend. Not sure what it is. But I thought maybe someone else might.

United States Sugar Corporation (USSC) MOW Crane at Bryant Yard, Canal Point, Palm Beach County, Florida. I seriously believe it is out-of-service.

If I remember correctly these were shot at the California State RR Museum in Sacramento. Nice to see this thread resurrected. I'm sure you all have some interesting MOW equipment to share.

Aha, found it. I'd love to bash this some day.

May be able to use something like this to model it.

That's a rail saw. I drove an older, two person self-propelled version of this when I was working on a joint elimination gang.
