    Default Share your billboard

This seems to be a trend lately..but in my opinion if it gets members to post pics of their layout then it's all good.

Until recently I worked for Frito Lay. I did this billboard from an old magazine from the 60's. It was an ad that I cut out...scanned....reduced and fit into place on this lazer cut wood billboard I bought and put together. I had to place a bit of scenery in front just to make sure it stayed upright but I guess it looks okay.

The pic itself as placed in the billboard is 1in x 2.25in. I had to stretch the image to make it fit but you really don't notice that. I did have to print of a few before I got it right.

Very nice. I don't have any billboards yet and I don't want many - maybe just a few. That will come later. I intend to do mine much the same way as you did except I think I can likely find the images I want online.

You might recognize the guy on the music store billboard.

Nice billboards. I'm glad you start this thread when you did as it reminded me I need to create some for my layout.

Few billboard made b W.S., pewter castings painted and weathered to look like wood. In tone with my 50 era diorama.
