Transfer all your photo's to Flickr Eric, or even better your own website.

I'm going to host them at www.pennsylvania-railroad.com since I have unlimited bandwidth there. However, I don't plan on going back and fixing all the broken links in this thread.

interesting, I have a PB account and they havn't done that to me (yet). Although I gave up on that site a long time ago because it's impossible to use without an ad blocker (at least on a ten-year old computer). Guess I should finally backup anything I want off there though...

If there's anything you want, download it now. They're working their way through their users. I've seen one after another get locked out of third party hosting, and some people have reported problems downloading photos after the new terms of service get applied to them.

    NOTICE OF ABANDONMENT

The Pennsylvania Railroad has received approval to discontinue all service on the Transcontinental line. The last train was run 5:15 PM on 01/12/18. The line is abandoned, effective immediately, and removal of physical plant along the right of way has commenced. This chapter of the history of the Transcontinental Pennsylvania Railroad is at an end.

They need to add a sad face emoji. This is one of the BEST threads I have followed in all my years on here. Sad day indeed.

Not quite sure I follow, but if you’re referring to the now empty room, I do realize it since I had it specifically added to the house to build a railroad in! Unfortunately, I only have it for three more days.

Sad to see all of that hard work come down so quickly.

It's too bad we couldn't build them as fast.
