I'm in Ottawa, and there's basically nothing on the map to do.

Can anyone help? Any good shops or railfan spots worth checking out?

Ottawa? You're right -- not much in the way of railfanning here. The main action is VIA in and out of the Ottawa Station. Then there's the O-Train light rail line running north-south through Carleton U. Freight-wise there's one train a week that runs through Walkley Yard to service an industry out in Arnprior west of the city. The closest mainline freight action is CPR's Winchester subdivision which runs east-west about 50km south of the city. The museum of Science & Tech and it's steam locomotive exhibits are closed until 2017 for renovations.

I added The union pacific yard in Milwaukee. I think up calls it the butler yard because technically it is in butler. Also added The Wisconsin and Southern Main/home yard in Madison Wi.

Just added a few more, but I am still a little fuzzy on which colors to use. I just stuck with the blue marker, but tried the little "track" icon once. A little camera would be nice for good photo locations.

Am I the only one that can't load page 1 of this thread? I was hoping to check out the map and see some railfan spots in the LA area for an upcoming work trip

I still can’t get page 1 to load, giving up so I’ll try this the old school way.

Any railfan or hobby shop suggestions for the Torrence California area?
