    Those backdrops really capture the PNW look, congrats to your lovely lady!!
    As for your logging area, don't forget that even back in the 1930s there was some truck logging to central reloads. This means that not all the area needs to be denuded of trees and the truely large camps were based around that sort of operation. Lots of camp cars, cookhouse and dining hall, repair shops for railroad, trucks/cats and steam donkeys (mooseys??). If you need any advice, just let me know.

    @mosslake

    Thank you very much Russ!

    Well, it would be darn near impossible to slip a logging road up to the logging camp, given the terrain ... Moose actually educated and experienced in forest engineering, so Moose knows what logging roads in practice can be like - Moose's seen such steep grades and hairpin turns as to make even this moose's antlers curl in shear panic commin' down'em!

    Moose been a'paintin' and a'ballastin', here and there, as time permits ... The isopropyl acohol can really make a moose's noggin fuzzy!

    Anyway, a lot of this is still very wet. Should age well though!

    Moose discovered during ballasting that Moose missed a lot of spots with the paints ... And Moose apparently managed to get the "Rail Brown" mixed up with the "Tie Brown"... Do'h! Perhaps not going to be noticeable to anyone, but Moose will know ... And so will all of youse guys. Double do'h!

    Hmm, the Tahoma & Cascadia Railroad must run through the same area as your railroad. I'm sort of playing around with the area from Chambers Bay Golf Course (gravel pit) to the opening of Chamber's Creek into the Sound (sawmill and paper mill). I'm thinking of some barge traffic from the gravel works over to McNeil Island to give the prisoners something to do...

    Are you local to the area? I seem to recognize the name of the railroad.

    The Mt Tahoma & Pacific RR is inspired by the greater Tacoma area's history and to some degree Stielacoom locale ... Hmmm, Are you going to incorporate something like the Boise Cascade paper mill that used to operate in Chambers Bay? Moose used to ride dirt bike in old gravel pit south of there that is now the home of Stielacoom High School football stadium...

    @tomcook @badlandnp

    Moose write children's books? About Moose's adventures?!

    Hmmm, Mrs Moose probably wouldn't think that would be a stretch, something about Moose having the mind of a child or something. Moose no know what she's talking about half the time...

    Actually, Tom's the children's book author. He should write it! ... ... ... No, wait, Tom knows too much...

    You betcha. I am also going to have the sawmill that used to sit at the opening of Chamber's Creek into the Sound--where the small marina sits now.
