TD, the Conrail unit has been bouncing back and forth between Indiana / Georgia on trains 792/793 for the past few weeks. The Southern has also been through recently along with a few others. I haven't photographed any of them.

I got very lucky. Danville trips are rare for me. But that day we had gone down to the farm of one of the local NMRA club members in Eubank to ride his 7.5" gauge train, and as we started back, decided to hang a left in Lancaster, after getting caught in traffic behind a horse and buggy. It'll probably be Christmas before I get back down there.

Here are a couple shots of a MOW train as well as a couple of dash 9s in H2 and warbonnet on a unit train of tank cars. I couldn't get to a good angle on the dash 9s but still thought it was interesting enough to post as I haven't seen many warbonnets around here. All from a couple of weeks ago- just getting around to posting them.

Great catch of the Erie unit, Sim! And I really like that first shot with the empty coal gons.

Not a whole lot of time for train hunting this weekend... but a little luck. Some MOW at South Charleston, WV

Haven't done much railfanning lately due to racing commitments...though the season's about over:

I've been out a few times though, and I feel like I need to get back into the swing of things...

Racing and railfanning, well at least I can do one of them though both would be great...

If some of my earlier photos are no longer up, it is because I have reuploaded larger versions of them on my Flickr.

Not sure what's going on but lately 5 locomotive consists have become very common, not sure why? The loads are relatively short strings of oil or grain cars.

    this one was double stacks

My guess is that the main under the locomotives was recently reballasted and the other track is a slightly lower passing siding that was the beneficiary of some overflow.

They are both main lines. Big csx line in our area actually. I'll snap a few pics on my way to class.

I was standing on the upper third track which is ABC Railway or W&LE
