Default N Scale Video Camera Car?

Okay folks, we've come a looooooong way since the days of Lionel Rail Scope! We have cameras in cellphones now that offer pretty good resolution. Has anyone "kitbashed" a cellphone camera and made a "camera car" out of it? Anyone put video camera guts inside of a dummy loco? Anyone made a "camera car" out of a tubular-shaped sports or lapel cam and made "cab view" videos of their layout?

The new ReplayXD1080 may be just the ticket. I'm not sure if it's actually small enough to snuggle into a dummy loco, boxcar, autorack, etc, but it is certainly small enough to put on a flat car. Diameter is 24mm, aka .9", and it's 3.3" long.
