Who keeps changing the title of this thread?

Maybe I'm just getting old or cheap or both?
But I sure am glad that I have most of the rolling stock and locomotives that I need. (Yeah I'm sure I'll find something I need eventually)
This isn't and eBay sale but from Facebook.
A seller, who sells a lot on there, has an N scale Atlas Rio Grande GP40 W/DCC (doesn't say what brand of chip, drop in or hard wired) assuming it's an NCE drop-in chip due to the gray foam insert listed for $100 shipped.
He doesn't say if it's used or not and the Kicker is that it is missing the rear handrail!!! RUFKM?

Here's another eBay listing that has ended. Hopefully the link still works?

That was just a bidding war... it started out at a very reasonable $9.99....

Still can't wrap my head around what people are paying for these ExactRail Bulkhead Flats. I'd like a couple, but not paying what these are going for. And I hear they aren't exactly good tracking due to weight, or lack there of.

I hear ya! That's insane. A little too new for me, but I'd squeeze one in if the price was right.
But then again the new HO bulkhead flats from Exactrail ar $55 new, ugh.....

That’s more than I would be willing to pay... I think when I bought the 1 I own, they were in the 30-40 range.

Here's a new one, haven't seen a car like this before.
I'm gonna keep this one on watch out of curiosity.

    ??
Trying to figure out why this bid jumped from $154.06 to $174.50 in one jump...
Supposed to jump $2.50 at a time in this bid range.
Am I tired and missing something?

I see he's got three high bids on it.
I wonder, was there was a reserve set on that item?

If not, did someone retract a bid?

H***e had the high bid with a max bid higher than someone who put a bid in after, once that bid was submitted, it was less tha H***e's max bid, so H***e retained the high bid albeit higher than it had been.

I've seen that exact thing play out on one i was watching a while back.
    Strange.

If someone retracted their bid, you should be able to see that at the bottom of the bid history page.

Didn't see that. Another way to separate folks from their money.

I always heard it was "vintage" until it was about 100 years old. Then antique. Unless you are talking cars...

Still, among model railroad listings and layouts, it is a curiosity.
