Default What are you buying this month (January 2015)?

Moose went to LHS in Tacoma and bought these for locomotive conversions:

Since 90% of my stuff comes off ebay, I never know what will pop up, but MT is supposed to be releasing a runner pack of SP&S woodchip gondolas this month and I have a set on pre-order. http://www.micro-trains.com/Cuts/1501/1501-99300100.jpg
I also picked up a new Atlas Milwaukee Road RS1 in orange/black that had been sitting on my dealers shelf for a while (my "local" dealer is 150 miles one way) and picked up a new Milwaukee Road book.......Milwaukee Road through passenger service Vol 2 , while I was there. And when I got home my new FVM Milwaukee Road transfer caboose was in the mailbox.

Purchased in late December off ebay were a fleet of Pacific Fruit Express reefers, as well as an assortment of other freight cars. They arrived in my mailbox Friday. Here are the PFE reefers, and one of the other new arrivals, perhaps the only Rutland boxcar ever seen in Montana, posing for you:

I ordered two roundhouse intermodal well cars in CSX and Burlington Northern paint schemes, as well as Micro-Trains trucks to replace the cars' Rapido couplers. I also ordered some Con-Cor and Walthers shipping containers for them to haul. I'll post pictures once they arrive.

She's an oil tender which will be something of a rarity on the MT&P rails!

At last! After many months, I finally got some new stuff for my intermodal train. Roundhouse 48' CSX and BN well cars, Walthers Hapag-Lloyd container, and Con-Cor CMA-CGM containers. I swapped out the trucks on the well cars for MTLs.

Well I had 2 packages come in this week , and I am very glad to say one of them had Atlas code 55 turnouts in it .

First some rolling stock I got of ebay.co.uk, they are not my era , but I got them for my buddy Ger and for my nephews layout to be.

I've gotta say I like these Toronto Hamilton and Buffalo tank cars so much , they will go to my nephews layout , it will be Canadian themed , his dad , my youngest brother was born in Stratford Ontario, where we lived 5 years.

I bought the CSX Coil cars (4 of them) at the end of November, 1 province over... and they JUST arrived today. Near as I figure, one of my prick neighbors couldn't walk a few houses over to give me my package and took them to the post office to return to sender who then fired them back to my place. WTF. Some people are lazy and can suck the life out of your happy thoughts... anyways, here are the pics.

And this mini video camera I bought from a link on Michael Rose's thread. THing is TINY! Going to slap it on a flat car and take a few laps of my layout.

Those cars are well worth the wait though, and the camera is even smaller then I thought.

After a horrendous start to our New Year Day, $500 on a plumbing repair, this old house. I am beginning to buy a few things. I scored this from a member here on NSN.

    RS-Boxcar 50ft ARR 11503 01.JPG

It's not much, but it's a start. I have a few more things on the back burner, for a close friend out in California. I have to wait and see if I can score a deal or two, though.

    That's all for now!

I figured putting the caboose next to it for size reference would be better than me saying, seriously, it's tiny!
