Default Another safety reminder near the tracks

Looks like another incident where someone was too concerned with getting the photo then safety.

thanks for posting, I just shared that on a couple photography forums where I visit. I cringe when i see photographers doing this, but saying anything usually results in negative and derogatory responses.

    Amen!

What's really sad is the fact that the railroads have to actually post this or say things like this:

Last month, Union Pacific launched a campaign – #TracksAreForTrains – to remind the public to stay off the railroad tracks...

Back when I was a kid and before I began to model trains, I knew that if I didn't move off the tracks, it wouldn't turn out good for me.
I don't know, call it common sense?
    Survival instinct?

Whats really sad is what the crew will be going thru , a needless and preventable death if the photographer had used his common sense as Allen stated . Now the crew will have to live with this horror forever , and nothing they could do about it , except watch it happen . My sadness is for both the photographers family and esspecially for the crew .

I wish to retract my earlier statement. It was ungenerous.

I see so much in the way of risk-taking by trespassers that it's hard for me not be harsh and brittle about these things.
