Back on 22 Nov 2019, I got this M train leaving town eastbound. It has a really neat bunch of cars, in the consist and is worth watching for seeing all the different types.

Last night, I tried my hand at night shots, again. It turns out that my video doesn't work very well in low light, so I tried to pan some stills of it crawling out of the yard,

    You mean shots like these?
I shot these in Nebraska but I know what you mean. Now all you see around here is that damned Orange and Black.
Of course I suppose this is what the steam fans said about the F units.

Yes, This is exactly what I mean! I Have one scanned photo from when I used to ride my bicycle from Atlanta Texas to Bloomberg Texas just to burn up a couple of rolls of 35mm film with my old Minolta camera. When I get back to the USA and dig for some more of these photos I will try to post them. Looks like the KCS only thought of cleaning the Numbers on the side of the cab in order to keep track of their SD40-2's beast. Weird thing is that KCS and then BN always work hand and hand. If one wasn't a railfan they would get the now KCS and BNSF paints confused or think they were the same company. What I liked about the KCS back then was not only the white and red letter SD40-2's but they also used three numbers vs four like the MoPac or the Cotton Belt route.

The lutefisk was excellent! Almost as good as what I remembered from when I had it in Norway! Yum!!

Last night I was able to carch the Sidney local coming home while the snow was falling. Sure was purty! Got a close up of a RailGon car at the end.

Who says Fri the 13th is bad ? I got good and lucky to catch the switch actually getting set to move something out of the roundhouse! The old switch is complemented by the "new" MAC's!And I actually got out of town yesterday, for Christmas shopping. And no such trip would be complete without seeing a train!

    And a couple vids:

    https://vimeo.com/379661181

Then the long one as the coal load pulls hard over the grade eastbound out of town. The curve at the top of the grade is about 90 - 100 degrees as well! Since they are leaving the yard track, 1, there is a speed restriction, too.

So, late yesterday morning, I saw that we had 2 I trains in town. One is rare and 2 is even moreso! The train on 1 track had it's power at the service track, but this guy on the mainline swapped crews at the depot, then proceeded west to the end of the yard limit to wait on a clear signal, which is what I filmed here.

    https://vimeo.com/382888092

So, while he waited for clearance, I got to this hill at the little bridge at MP 1.93 just west of town. I had time to set up and here he came!
