Default Display case for 3x6 layout?

We are starting to look at doing a simple 3'x6' layout to get our feet wet with the hobby and have an issue with our cat. She smacks the train as soon as it moves so we need to find a way to encase the layout. I was thinking about somehow putting it into a coffee table setup where it will be under glass which will be in a wood frame. I would then encase the display on the sides too so that she couldn't get in there. Has anyone had experience with this issue? Thanks.

I've seen coffee table layouts where the layout is enclosed into a draw set up on rollers. That way you can access the layout when needed or shut it and cute through the glass top

I would put the cat in another room and close the door. But since that doesn't sound like an option, and you'd like a coffee table layout, have you done a search on this?

    Just a thought...
