Atlas 40' container

Has anyone purchased the Atlas n scale 40' containers yet? How do they compare to the other manufactures? Do they have magnets? Thanks in advance!

I'm about to buy a pack. It looks like there's no magnets, but there are pegs (bottom). It remains to be seen whether they will mate with the Walthers or Kato pegs. I'll post a video once I get them.

That would be great! I think the doors open too? Not sure? They look nice!

I just got the Maersk set. They are pretty nice. No magnets - just pegs. They fit nicely together. Not sure about mating with other containers. My guess is they won't fit well with other brands as they are tough to even line up Atlas to Atlas. I didn't notice the doors opening (maybe I didn't look close enough???)

All in all, they are pretty nice.

I didnt notice doors on mine either, however it seems no company tries to make it perfectly 100% compatible with others? (guess that is why magnets are useful?)

I bought two 3-packs of Atlas K-Line containers several months ago but haven't opened them up until recently! they have nice detail (top numbering and end-door metal handles) and pegs that generally mate with Walthers high cube container holes. But I noticed the floors fall off! Not a big issue but you might want to glue them on for extra security. I might weight a couple of them.

The new containers from JACKSONVILLE TERMINAL COMPANY come with a magnetic system installed, AND the 'pegs' are located at the scaled 1:160 location/position. They match other containers that are scaled correctly, as such, which includes the ATLAS 40' standard height, and I believe some of the Walther's containers. Future JTC containers will all have the same scaled ISO spacing for IBC 'pegs'.

Thanks for the info. I saw them on the MBK website, was wondering about them. But all their containers are of the canvas-top variety, and honestly I've never seen those before.
