    Default Cast resin UP 4-12-2 Class 9000

    Can't remember if I posted this one ?

    The UP three-cylinder 4-12-2 Class 9000.

    Chassis is an extended Kato Mikado chassis with two extra sets of drivers operated by the side rods.



    Tender chassis is a Bachmann Spectrum Vanderbilt narrowed and shortened.



    Numbered 9000.

    Anybody know where to find the shell for this UP 9000 4-12-2? Or any of the other resin castings?

    Good luck finding any. The guy who cast them quit the hobby for an indeterminate amount of time.

    That's indeed a shame if its true. Without that 9000 casting as a basis, building a UP 4-12-2 would be marginally more difficult.
