    does any body know what the amperage output is on the dc side at full throttle , mid throttle . there is no info any where on the net and i dont wanna break out all my air craft electrics to find out. that stuff is packed way way waaay back in cob webs hahahaha

    Found one on E-bay, picture showed 17 VDC output, 7VA max, so a bit less than 1/2 amp, maybe. These weren't the most reliable things.

    The actual current output depends on what sort of load it's seeing. If you've got one loco, that will determine the amps, not the throttle.
