Default Just a hello from an old retired N Scale Modler

    Hello nScale folks.

Just a hello to everyone and hope all is well with you and yours

As of 07/06/2018, 04:33 PM CST I'm still breathing air and pumping blood.
I'm older (76) but still bald and fat.
My neighbor lady said I'm getting Man Boobs.
I told yep but they are not as much fun to play with as yours are

Not to active on the site not even any arm-chair modeling.
I still stop by to say hello to old and new friends.
See how much fun you all are having with your layouts.

We're moving to LA (Lower Alabama ) sometime in the next 3-6 months
After we get settled I'll see about a little 2x3 layout. I do miss MRR a lot
Hope everyone's modeling is going well
    See ya

    Ron,

When I lived in Louisiana, I said we lived in west LA. Probably not too different climate wise from your LA.

What town are you moving to?

The Frisco served both Birmingham and Mobile along with quite a few other towns. I have always thought the Frisco’s Blakely Island trackage would make an interesting shelf switching layout ( quite a few industries and a railcar barge as the only connection to the outside world ).

    Good luck with the move.

Glad to hear you are still ticking!

Take it easy on the move, and don't worry about the railroading. It will still be there.
Northern Pacific and Black Hills RR in N, of course!!

    Ron

Welcome back (even if you ARE only passing through).

Thanks for the update; happy 'relocating' (and already looking forward to pics of the 2 x 3 'some day').

Unfortuntely, I don't think there is too much left.

The last time I drove through mobile, I detoured on US90 and only saw ties here and there...

Still, if you find anything interesting, let me know.

Glad you are still following along Ron, and I hope you do get to do a small layout in your new home.
As long as I can model in N-scale, I know I'm not old

Glad to see you are still kicking, Ron! I have not forgotten the aid you have provided the CH&FR over the years. I hope all remains well with you!
