Default Any railroady stuff to do around Atlanta or Ft. Benning?

We are headed that way in November, and looks like we'll have a Sunday free. Any interesting stuff to see or cool hobby shops around there?

I'm currently stationed there and can say I haven't found anything in the immediate area. Up around the Atlanta area are several shops and things but that's 1.5-2 hours away.

There is the nation's largest Hobby Town store in Kennesaw, GA. https://www.hobbytown.com/store-locations
Train Master Models is a neat store https://www.trainmastermodels.com/Default.asp

Unfortunately, a lot of other places up around the Atlanta area are closed on Sundays. Here's a list of some:
    The southeastern Railroad Museum https://www.train-museum.org/
    Trainz https://www.trainz.com/
    Legacy Station https://www.legacystation.com/
    Blue Ox Trains http://www.blueoxtrains.com/

    I hope this helps

I went to Atlanta for a conference last year. The convention center has a rail line running right through it. I was able to railfan from inside all week. It was nice.
