    Default RAILNSCALE made by DM-Toys

    Hi,

From now on you can purchase RAILNSCALE products not only via Shapeways but also from DM-Toys. DM-Toys is one of the largest webshops specialized in N-scale products. This means that you benefit from the wide range of model railway products and the attractive shipping options. But there are more benefits. All RAILNSCALE products offered by DM-Toys have been printed by DM-Toys in Germany to the same high standard as you are used to. Our products are delivered in a sturdy plastic box. As an extra service, the RAILNSCALE made by DM-Toys products have already been cleaned, so they are ready to paint.

All RAILNSCALE products offered by DM-Toys are on stock, which means that you do not have to wait long for your order. DM-Toys has released a first selection of 22 of our products. You can find them here in the DM-Toys webshop.

Thatís what we call Happy Hobbying!

    Best regards,
    Maurice & Joris

Great news and Daniel at DM-toys is one great guy. They also stock our kits so you folks in Europe can save shipping by getting from them .

I, too, vouch for DM-TOYS as a good place to get N scale stuff. Daniel does have some American trains and a great deal of stuff that can go either way. If your order is less than 300€, shipping is 10€ - $11.50 - anywhere in the world. My orders are often more than 300€, so shipping is free. I have had the rare package arrive that was somewhat mangled, but they pack the contents so well that I have never received damaged goodies.

The downside? Shipping from Europe to the US is cheap; going the other direction is expensive. I know this from shipping packages to my Bavarian friends. I've never had to return an item to DM-TOYS.
    Cheers!

    Hi,

Thank you very much for your kind words. We certainly hope things will work pout properly. So far, I am convinced this collaboration is a step in the right direction.

I'd like to share a photo showing the packages of RAILNSCALE made by DM-Toys.

As you can see the kits are cleaned and nicely packaged in a sturdy box. I think this is a great upgrade compared to the Shapeways bags.

Yes, it is quite exciting to see the many positive responses I have read on the various forums too. I've been working hard the last years to get things done well, and Shapeways is just screwing things up with hideous price indications.

Hopefuly the sales at DM-Toys will justify an expansion of our productline at their shop.

I just received a message of one of our customers who just received is newly ordered RAILNSCALE made by DM-Toys items. He noticed a great improvement in print quality compared to the Shapeways parts. Also the surfaces are directly paintable and do not need further cleaning.

To show the print quality of RAILNSCALE made by DM-Toys items, I show some images of unpainted parts:

Please note that the scale is in centimeters and not inches.

    Best regards,
    Maurice
