Default Sand blasting medium as coal?

I'm looking for something that looks like coal but is dust free.
Does anyone here have experience with with Black Beauty sand blasting abrasive? https://www.amazon.com/dp/B010VLIF90...ing=UTF8&psc=1

Hoping it is not ferrous as I don't want it attracted to motor magnets; I ran into that when I tried black art sand. Also not sure that's the best grit size.

I'm looking to build another operating mine on my layout. I use real coal but I had to add dust collection systems, and I don't want to build another one for the new mine.
