I may or may not have suggested some GN F units, or even an SD-7, some time back. But I have never laid eyes those ALCos. Cross my heart and hope to escape from a Moose stampede!

Went to a train show on the weekend looking for street lights and lamp poles - no luck; the show was mostly HO and larger scales. But my wife's keen eyes caught this full set of MTL 12 Days of Christmas box cars and caboose. I can't tell that they've ever been been run, and it was $75 for the lot. Will make a nice looking train for our Christmas village, and will find a good home in a yard on the layout the rest of the year. Just need to find a power supply and DC loco for the village

Yes, hiding would be advisable... (Moose grumbles as he puts on his stampeding boots, size extra extra extra extra large, with spikes!)

Got the wife a bachmann 4-6-0 Southern so decided to get her something that it can pull around her layout. Decided on this:

Athearn N 34' Old Time Overton Pass (UP) cars:

    Yep - they're green
    Cheers Tony

My order from MB Klein came in very fast , so here are the pics of 100 pieces of Atlas code 55 flex track and 4 curved turnouts, even after taxes and customs costs it saved me about 200 euro buying it from MB Klein

Moose recommend slowing down to pace of disease'el (okay, maybe not that slow -- you'd never get anywhere!), then won't make such very nearly almost completely unforgivable mistakes... Just sayin'

With all the lighting I need to do I have ordered the following from Electron.com:

    100 X 560 ohm resistors (non smd)
    100 X 1k resistors (non smd)
100 X 550 mcd Cool White LEDs (smd)

Bought the standard resistors as playing with the SMD type was too hard on the eyes AND temperament
Do you really want to see pics of this stuff ?
    Cheers Tony
