Post Visit to the National Rail Museum - York, England

    All,
Over the Thanksgiving break a couple of months ago, my family went to England to visit. Part of the trip was spent in York where I went to the National Rail Museum next to the York rail station. It is a very cool museum and I did not have enough time to do it justice. Seeing the Mallard and the Flying Scotsman were my personal highlights. I took some pretty nifty photos and I have put them in a short slide show. If this kind of thing interests you, please click on the following link:

Please let me know what you think! Thanks!

    Regards,
    Chuck

I agree, an absolutely fantastic museum.
I was there in 2007 and just like you Chuck, I didn't leave enough time to see it all properly. So, we're going back again in August this year and plan to spend 2 full days there this time
We will also be traveling 1st class LNER from London to Edinburgh and back......Cant wait.
    Cheers,
