    Default Disconnects for headlight wires?

So I'm thinking of putting headlights in the shell as opposed to on the frame, and I'm toying with the idea of having a quick connect of some sort on the wires so I can remove the shell easily. Is there anything small enough to fit in one of our tiny units? Anyone done this before?

Evan Designs sells some fairly small ones - depends on what type of locomotive you’re talking about. They might fit.

One thing I've done on occasion is to put contact tabs on the shell and engine to transfer power for the lights. Takes a little bit of fabricating, but lets you remove the shell without pulling the lights out.

Put kapton tape on top of the frame halves, then CA brass pads to the tape (solder your wires first).
To the inside of the shell, CA one end of thin brass contacts with a bend... adjust the bend to give enough contact pressure, without pushing the shell up.
