Question Replacing couplers on B'mann diesel loco

How do you replace the couplers on a Bachmann EMD GP50 diesel? I bought it used. I dropped the darn thing and messed up one of the couplers. Is it possible to replace both couplers with Micro-Trains couplers? If so, which Micro-Train couplers do I need? Thanks

    Default

Micro-Trains says use their part number 1128 or 1129. I have not made such a conversion, maybe someone who has can provide 'how to' information.
