    You could simply paint over the old decal before applying the new. Or try removing the existing decal to ensure that it doesn't show through.

    I'm still impressed with how good it looks.

    I did plan on brushing a little white paint over the old letters. I don't think removal is an option - the whole assembly is pretty fragile.

    Erm I have not looked at the forum since Friday, I am not going to confirm or deny if I noticed it immediately and if I decided not to say anything either.

    I noticed it , but figured that's the way you wanted it . I like TRW also , but yea I'm sure a lot more people would have commented on it there .

    I painted and lettered a couple of flat cars with some Black cat Canadian Pacific decals. Anything to avoid trying to fix the motor that has given up the ghost in my CP mallet build
