Why not just upload them to albums here?

I usally just take photos with my tablet and post them up in my threads no problem . But yesterday i took photos with my phone , which is far superior , and now i cant upload them here . I think the reason is they are too big in file size . And i have no idea how to resize them on my tablet or phone . So i thought i would do the online thing and then link, them here or something

Online is nice for 'take your pictures everywhere', but for 'real' storage I just use thumb drives and my hard drive. That little incident not long ago where (I can't remember the name of the firm/website) suddenly decided to end all free hosting kind of made me think twice about any online service. As far as I'm concerned, they're all 'here today, gone tomorrow'.

Do you shoot the photo first? or do you click attach image, browse, use camera from within the post here? I have no trouble doing that... I will see if I can post some screen shots soon.

I don't know if it's changed but max photo size on nscale.net was 1 MB. With my old phone that wasn't a problem, but the newer ones are much bigger than that. Now I load them on my laptop and edit with MS Paint, using the Resize dialog. If the photo is less than 4 MB you can resize to 50% which quarters the MBs.

Phone and tablet-taken pictures, and every photo editing app I tried seemed to always adjust the number of pixels to match the screen resolution of the device for you, whether you want that to happen or not. My SLR shots degraded from 8 MB down to 2.

I use an app called Pixlr. I take a photo with my phone, open the photo in Pixlr, crop out anything I don't want posted (more often than not messes in the background) and Pixlr gives me the option to resize the photo when I save it. VERY easy. I use the smallest image size as it is just fine for posting to an internet forum. Pixlr is free but you get a photo ad when you go to save. Close the ad and you are done.

I use photobucket for photos that I don't want to host on my website. Seems OK.

Some information I discovered awhile back concerning picture upload size, resizing, etc.
