The alleged Nscale M1 tank I found is about .23" too short. I rescaled and I'm trying it again.

My paint booth. And yes that is a fully functional range hood with vent fan. And yea, that's a rotary table thing for the kitchen too.

My compressor can just be seen to the left.

Great idea...always a fan of re-purposing. Does the exhaust get filtered?

And it was not re-purposed. I bought the hood new with this in mind.

I still have to do a little clean up but here is an M113 that I printed. Ran out of paint so gotta wait to finish but it's showing really good potential.

    OK followup on the tanks:

2 m1s.jpg Both are supposed to be N scale. The painted one is MT and is supposed to be very accurate as to size. The other is what's listed as Nscale blown up to 112.9% of the original size

    2 m1s 2.jpg

And the original sized one with the one just printed.

    2 m1's n.jpg

Guess I'll try it once again.

The point here is to check. Just because someone claims it's N scales doesn't make it N scale. And the person in question did make it available as a free download.

I think that is called a "hack" these days. Your printing reports are excellent.

OK, another update. My 2nd son is into the games that us 28MM pieces like orcs, elves and such. He's the one who turned me onto printing. He has a new set of various sized extruder nozzles for me to play with. He's trying to get the best print quality possible so he's feeding me info. He has the same printer.

For anyone thinking about a printer. They are not all created equal. A daughter in law bought one for he craft stuff. She paid about the same I did for mine. At first glance her's is nicer. But mine has much better print quality than her's. She's planning on upgrading soon. Research before you buy. ANd as far as setup and such? Tons of youtube videos are available!

I'll keep everyone updated as soon as I get my hands on those new nozzles.

I found it on yeggi. Going back to look for it I can't find it now? I do however find it now in 1:200 except that's off from what printed in the original version. The hull in the original should measure about 1.95 inches. As is it printed it's 1.7. At 1:200 it should be 1.56. So I think someone may have told the person who posted it that it was off. Maybe the math is bad? Anyway the poster says now that some of the pictures are of 1:160 scale for an Nscale project. My question there is why 5? US Army tank platoon is 4 tanks. Company had 3 platoons and the CO's and XO's tanks making 14 per company. 58 in a Bn total. So 5 is an off number.

I like the fact it's a free download. Having to fudge size means nothing to me. Just a little extra work.

The yeggie link for the 1:200 M1 is https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3218831

I'll see if I can't find the one that claimed it to be n scale.

    Rick,
I just can't get over how well you printer in printing. The portal looks super and the rock detail is "wow". I'm modeling the WP's Canyon sub and been trying to find a WP prototype portal for 15+ years. So after I got the Photon, I drew some up and printed them. Here in the portals on the tunnel the leg of Keddie Wye. First is looking from Keddie looking rr west toward Bieber (on the high line). The other is look from the high line back towards Keddie rr east.

Like your bridge too. What I need is a pattern to make the bridge piers like you have that will support the KATO double track bridges like this one https://www.trainworld.com/manufactu...-bridge-black/ . I may have to just see what I can turn up. I don't possess the skill set needed to design my own.

As you should be! Looks good! How about a "build date" in the keystone?
