I used some of that Clump Foliage to fill in holes under the trees where you could look in and see the Chicken Leg tree trunks.

    @Allen H.

Nice! The combination of trees, bushes and static grass looks great! Will have to show Mrs Moose this photo of your work...

Annnd, yeah, Moose has Mrs Moose trained. LOL!

Oh! Actually, Mrs Moose encouraged Mr Moose to take up train hobby, so, yeah, Mrs Moose kinda did get Mr Moose "trained..." Of course, it was supposed to be for stress relief. Turned out to be for cash relief, as in relieved Moose of cash... Moose rambling. Time for go to sleep...

So here's a question for you all: If you go to a train show and swap meet, and you buy something there, and @Moose2013 and Mrs. Moose where there too and sorta knew what you bought. . .

. . .do you still have to post photos to avoid a stampedin'?

Moose has short memory and probably already saw a purdy flower and forgot what you bought, better show some photos just to be safe.

Da Mooses have return from a wee drive to a far away place called Port Angeles ... ... ... And they had a MRR swap meet. Yeah! :bounce:

Moose's wallet lost all its cash when Moose find man selling a widow's late husband's treasures...

The lone SP boxcar, as it turns out, is only the second SP freight car Moose acquire, which is kinda weird since Moose has had a SP Cabforward for 6-7 years with nothing to pull but a wee gondola...

Some of these, mind you, are going to eventually be sold off to the Mt Tahoma & Pacific RR -- just as soon as Moose learns to do decals to re-identify them as such...

Now that's the sort of swap meet I need to get to, the drive would be murder though..... All those single and double sheathed boxcars are just what I look for. And if they have K brakes and horizontal brake wheel (USRA) even better!!!

Post human make delivery to House of Moose... :bounce:

To add to the too few freight cars that the, ummm, oh, Moose still no have Northern Pacific locomotive to pull NP frieght cars... Oh well, have a few NP ore cars now anyway!

    1_Atlas_NP_Ore_Cars3_20190923_135927.jpg2_Atlas_NP_Ore_Cars3_20190923_135947.jpg

And a few to-be-converted-to-MT&PRR box cars "some day..."

And, the reason Moose was ordering something in the first place, a coaling tower! Of course, Moose has to do some major modifications to it to fit where Moose intends to put it on the layout...

Decided to bite the bullet & go wireless. Yup a fair chunk of change for a lone wolf operator with a simple 4x12 oval switching layout.

So far I've only played around with this for a few hours on my 2x4 layout, but I'm really enjoying it. Money well spent in my opinion.

I think this purchase has finally convinced me DCC is in fact way better than DC, even on simple layouts. Only took about 4 years
