Default I sure didn't see this one coming....

If somebody had told me that my model of a small town in southern Minnesota was going to require that I track down an N scale dolphin, I would've sic'd the guys with the butterfly nets on them. And yet, here we are....

Amazingly enough, somebody actually makes one on Shapeways. I just need to chop it into three pieces

Or you could just convince them to remove the dolphin. That'd do the trick too.
    Did someone say whitcomb?

That just might be a bigger challenge then modeling it.

Looking at the dolphins in the lawn, I figure there must be at least two. After all, dolphins are not like snakes or eels. The back and fin that are shown cannot belong to the head and tail.

So, do you model it Wisconsin style, or "believable"? (This is the trouble with having lived on a sailboat for a year and encountering dolphins nearly every single week. )

What if you substituted a Moose in place of the Dolphin? Just curious...

Not Moose, just Moose's head, back and tail.

Yeah, it does look a little strange. The Minnesota grass dolphin must be double jointed or something, lol.
