Default Suggestions for fine black mesh?

I need to make a backyard trampoline such as the one pictured below and was wondering what sort of material might work for the safety netting? Scale fidelity is not a consideration since anything "to scale" wouldn't really scan as netting. Any suggestions?

    Thanks!
    -Mark

I saw a video from Luke Towan where he used Wedding Vale material to make a chain link fence. This might work.

I've tried using that stuff for fencing (was unimpressed), but it might work as netting. I'll have to swing by Joann Fabrics and take another look at it.

Tulle is also something that has been mentioned here on a regular basis. Never used it personally though.

You might look at window screen material. It comes as metal or plastic. If you want a really fine material, check out scientific suppliers as they would have finer meshes than in the hardware store.

Besides the various types of fabric, check out the ribbons at the craft stores.

I have used Tulle before with good results, also look in the ribbon section at Joann you might find something there as well. The Tulle I bought was silver/gray but I can't see why you could not paint or dye any color?

Tulle looks promising as well. Sounds like a field trip to Michael's is in order.

    But what about stockings/pantyhose material??
(And if your thinking nasty thoughts about where/who you're likely to obtain it...shame on you)

Man walks into a Walmart (or the like) and asks an Associate where can he find pantyhose. "This aisle further up" says the Associate. Man rummages through the choices, looking at some black ones, some nude ones, even some fine fishnet one. Man catches Associate looking at him strangely and with wonderment. Associate rolls her eyes and walks away. Man speaks in a loudish fashion "It's for my model railroad layout at home. I'm going to use it for fencing. Really!" And the Associates replies back "The lipstick is in Aisle 7."

I think hosiery is going to be too fine. I want it to be visually identifiable as netting (albeit out of scale). Hoping to get over to Michael's today and check out some stuff.

I found some black mesh ribbon at Joann Fabrics that looks pretty much spot on for what I need. Thanks for all the suggestions, will post pics when I finish
