    Default Metrolink 935

Took a ride down to San Clemente today on Metrolink.
On the way home we were pulled by #935 and it looked brand new.
When I got home I tried to find it on the web and nothing came up, it must have just been delivered.
Bottom of it was as clean as the top.

And apparently there's some forum setting that won't let me capitalize locomotive builders and models appropriately.

If the entire post is capitalized it thinks you’re SHOUTING (can’t have that ).
So long as there is mixed case in the post, an all upper case section is fine.

I dream that one day we'll have N scale versions of the F125s and Hyundai Rotems

There needs to be more prototype roads that use them to justify them being made in 1:160 form. So far only Metrolink operates F125s and the Hyundai ROTEMs are only found on Metrolink and Miami's Tri-Rail commuter systems.

Honestly, as someone who rides Metrolink occasionally, I can't stand the ROTEM cars. Whenever I'm on a Metrolink train, I always ride in the good old Bombardiers.

I've yet to ride in a Rotem but I usually drive to LA from Riverside

I'd be happy with some 3d printed versions.. It's hard being in the 'modern era' sometimes

Another one that would be cool to see would be the Siemens locomotives... saw a Brightline trainset earlier this month whilst down in that part of Florida.

    Sorry for the hijack.

The Siemens Charger looks like the next new passenger loco to be modeled. It's already being using in regional Amtrak operations, and the Brightline version is basically the same thing (but with a more attractive-looking nose section attached). I think Kato and the other manufacturers are waiting first for Amtrak to put them in their intercity fleet so they can produce road numbers. I think Bachmann has already announced an HO version.
