Post Weekend Update (6th Dec 2019)

Please update us on the progress you have made on your MRR projects this week (commencing: 6th Dec 2019).

This weekly thread is to post little snippets about your layout/project progress.
This is not be a substitute for your layout build thread, but just a mini update on what you got done for the week.

You can link from your layout build thread to your posts in this thread as a part of a more extensive post there, or visa-versa (post to your build thread and link to that post when contributing to this thread.

Click on a post's #number (right-hand end of the post header) to get the URL to that particular post in your browsers address bar.
Copy and paste this as needed.

So, fellow nSn'ers, what have you been up to this week?

    This weekends project:

Another set of F3s. SP DF-2 class. This is the last set set of F3s (Of 4). Next will be F7s -- 8 sets.

So - here is the start. Sunday evening I will post photos of my progress to that point.

Thanks, -- Y'all have a great and productive weekend,
    Wolf

Isn't that what the inventor of the parachute said when his first attempt failed?

What be it that Moose is testing, I wonder?

Another Moose test ... It's not at all close to even being considered slightly ever so slightly perfect, but it's kinda sorta something...

The logo is not working out very well though. Tried to touch them up a bit, but paint seems too thick for sooo tiny a logo!
Maybe Moose should switch to O-versized scale?

It's almost Christmas, can we make it a reindeer stampede? I wanna ask Santa to bring me a 3D Printer for Christmas.

Yea, Moose gets that. No, this happens pretty much ever year. Just have to fill out some paperwork.

    Oh, the paperwork.

Dealing with the reindeers' union is a royal pain. It's not like this was something new. Moose mean, da moose staff are a purrty mellow bunch. Always "Yes sir." "How can we help you sir?" "What could da meese do to make yer experience a better one next time sir?" and all that.

But, ohhh, ask the reindeer for a carrot or a dram of scotch, and it's all about what do they get out of it; are they gonna get time and a half pay? Perhaps something "extra in the ole Xmas stocking," if you know what Moose means.

Hey, it's that time of year where everyone is supposed to be all merry, full of good cheer and all that. And while the meese are full of good cheer, those reindeer, oh yeah, their full of something alright...

Are ya sure you want reindeer sir?

Moose mean, hey, yer the customer. Will make it happen fer you sir.

    Will make it hsppen...

Hey Moose2013I really do recommend getting some custom decals printed up. You've got a whole fleet to do so you'll need something nice and easy to apply FWIW, I'd add RR on the box cars and all those other little bits of lettering like weight empty etc. Make them look a little more fancy I'm lovin' the Moose decal
    Thanks, Tom

Expect nothing except the opposite of what you expect, and then expect it to be something other than that ! Then that's about what it will be
