Yep. This was only a test. Moose trying to keep it in house if possible. Sending out for professional custom decals looks like the only way this is going to get done proper like... :sigh1:

Paperwork on yer reindeer substitution request is getting held up over some legal text. Something to do about profit sharing if they find loose change under the stampeded's couch cusions. Could take a couple days to get resolved.

Ummm, we could substitute Dalmatian puppies at a rather reasonable fee. Seems there's a lady trying to - ironically- raise some money to replace some couch cusions ... and a bed comforter ... and some car upholstery.

There's, like, 100 of these puppies. Maybe more. They should do a descent job of, ummm, well, not trampling per se, buuut, yeah, probably just going to slatherer you with sooo much puppy slobber that you'll have to, oh, Moose no know, change yer shirt or something...

Yeah, we'll keep workin on that reindeer substitution request paperwork...

Thank you for the suggestions, although Moose no know that "RR" on boxcars was ever prototypical. Cannot seem to find any examples where this was ever done.

This was only a test to see if custom railroad names and logos could be done without decals. Lettering & number not too bad, should look better if weathered. Logos not so much...

Applying horticultural icing on last winter's geological wedding cake project, working from the top down. I got a WS static grass applicator; way better than what I used in the past. Before and today pics:

Looks fantastic good sir. Keep it up! Ya'know, like shore-up some of those cliff faces. You don't want any accidentals happening while the trains are running...

Nope, you didn't take a photo of THAT... didn't happen, no proof that would hold up in a court of moose.

I think Moose exists on a higher plane of consciousness than do we mere two-legged bipeds, and I don't mean a 737!

    Did someone say "train"? Where?

    Me, I laid some track:

Dropped some feeders and drilled some module connection holes:

And also prepared some turnout control knob countersinking thingies in a couple more modules:

@Moose2013 You might try this method instead of the ink pad:

Moose has seen Skinner's video and has tried his method with acrylic paint as well as some other ink mediums. Just wasn't working for this moose... :sigh1:

Well, that's a bummer. Mosslake and I have been discussing trying this method in the chatbox recently. I wondered if the light film of paint on glass may have been the trick to clear stamping. Sorry to hear it didn't work out.
