Welcome @Railroader and @wilson. If you want, there is a new members thread where you can introduce yourself here: https://www.nscale.net/forums/showth...005#post577005 Not mandatory though. Once you get a few more posts you'll be able to post pictures, which is highly encouraged and enforced by our local Moose. That probably doesn't make sense yet, but it will...

Also, Railroader, you mentioned planning a new layout. If you want input, I highly recommend starting a thread in this section of the forum: https://www.nscale.net/forums/forumd...n-amp-Planning There are several folks around here who are quite good at it, and they've certainly helped me.

Last month the big purchase was sheet rock. Yesterday I ordered - and it is already in the mail! - this little BR 111 e-Lok from Reynauld's:

It is DCC equipped, so it just needs to be addressed and speed regulated. I'm planning to use it to pull this train:

With luck I should have it on Monday.
    Cheers!

Moose went to the last LHS carrying MRR stuff in the area, hoping with hooves crossed, that Moose could find some decals with Baldwin builders plates...

Moose bought these in hopes that the teenie tiny printing would harbour the Baldwin plates, but alas, after inspecting with magnifying moose headgear on the return to the moose lair, no such luck - decals too new to carry any such thing...

Moose also picked this up. Moose no know yet if any of these fit pre-war era:

A new laptop computer seeing as the old one saw fit to up and die on me (taking most of my needed web addresses with it). After a week of trying to do stuff on my phone I'm finally back in business.

Found a complete A-B-B-A set of the hard-to-find Kato Santa Fe Yellowbonnets on ebay.

I now have an extra F7 that I will probably sell.
