    I know I've asked before, but how does this show compare to the one in Portland, Or? I may skip my annual Portland train show expedition this year, so maybe I'll check out this one!

    I've also been to the Spokane show... anyone out there that can compare the Monroe show to either the Portland or Spokane shows?

    Found a flyer that says the Monroe show is Washington state's biggest show.

    It probably is now.

    The Boeing Employees MRR Club show isn't bad but relatively small.

    The Puyallup show has become watered down with food, home remodelling and similar vendors and definitely not worth visiting, IMHO (in Moose's humble opinion)...

    Da Mooses just spent 3 1/2 hours at the show this morning. As usual, tonnes of stuff and plenty of interesting module layouts. Encorouge all who can to go. Great fun!

    @Moose2013 unfortunately no.

    I skipped the Portland show to try the Monroe show and then my youngest son decided to have symptoms eerily similar to appendicitis and we ended up with a hospital bill instead of being able to use the money to go.

    Once we got to the hospital he started acting just fine, so the hospital bill was just to learn there was nothing wrong with him. Money well spent. Who needs more train stuff anyway, right?

    Oh! Those Royale Models were way kewl! Da Mooses took a peak at those, sooo detailed fer such tiny things. Thankfully fer da wallet, the layout didn't have a need fer them...

    How can ya not notice another antlered model railroader? Well, it was super packed!

    I should try to make an effort to get there. Better than the Boeing Show?

    Oh yeah, loads better, takes up three buildings worth - although one small building is mostly kiddo stuff ... Fills up floor space better than then the Puyallup show and no sales persons trying to sell ya leaf guards for yer gutters, new windows for yer house, etc. Plus, a lot of the same guys selling stuff ya might see at the other shows and then some...

    Definitely better Paul I quit going to the Boeing one when it became a chore just to move around or the sellers wanted gold for their stuff.
