I like it. The mountain with the tunnel going into it on the left is a good transition from the fascia to where the canyon "spills over the edge."

I just got a look at Micro Engineering's Prices . I can Hand Lay this for a forth the price of Flex track. Oh no I don't know what to do? I think ME is trying to make all of their Money back off just me.

Maybe I'll just build a layout with out the track just road bed.

That will save on wiring too.

If it's any consolation, to cover the same length that a pack of 6 sticks ME code 55 flex does, it's still cheaper than the equivalent fixed length of Kato 9.75" code 80 unitrack ($66.46 @ $12.00 per pack of 4 pieces). Curves are even more.

Today is the 3year anniversary for the start of my layout!

I think I have enough flex to get a main line loop.

    Thanks Sumner for the help.

    Santa!

Sorry that you're having to deal with all of this, particularly this time of year. Get well soon and run some trains!

Having recovered from covid recently myself you have my sympathy. To have the flu as well I can't fathom what you are experiencing. I'm sorry it occurred during the Christmas holidays as well. At least you have the track needed to continue with the layout. Get well soon.
