    No worries. I was offering to do it free of charge. Offer is on the table any time, my friend.

    well sent the bachmann away , but HEY i got my new GP7 from fifer this morning. runs like a top. not as pretty as my bachmann was but it runs forward and backward no glitches either. only one lil problem the shell scraped the rails . it sat way to low and grabbed every rail connection , but easy solved with a bit of grinding to the shell. PERFECT now. she runs real slow and runs fast enough for the loop runs.
    sid be Happy again yeeeeee .atlas not quite as detailed as the bachmann but at least the darn thing runs.

    Sid,
    I received the locomotive. Diagnosis: bad motor electrical connections or bad motor electrical circuit. I replaced the decoder with an extra one I had and it runs like a dream now! The only thing I have to do is to replace the front and read LEDs to the new DCC board. Do you want me to add extra details to the shell for you and front and rear brake and air hoses?

    @gatrhumpy
    Who am I to say go for it, but the fact it is a DRG&W GP7. Well I say go for it.

    The front and rear LEDs are on, and the locomotive runs great! Let me know if you want me to add extra details or if you want me to send it back to you tomorrow. If I add details it will take an extra day...

    That's what happened to me @sid. Someone sent me a whole bunch of Atlas couplers for me to have, and now I'm paying it forward. Perhaps you can do that as well?

    I feel that during this COVID-19 outbreak we need to band (within a 6ft distance, of course) together and do nice things for each other.

    I will add the details and send them back to you. I hope you like the locomotive! I will let you know when it ships.

    Sid, do you want me to change out the Rapido couplers with Atlas knuckle couplers? It's literally a 20 second swap... They are more to scale and look better too. Let me know...

    Sid, I have not sent this yet. I promise I will do it tomorrow. I'm trying to limit my interaction and exposure right now. It will be in the mail tomorrow.
