Default NMRA, MCR, DIV 8 Train Show & Sale Cancelled

Well it has happened. Due to all the Media Hype over coronavirus, The NMRA, MCR, DIV 8 Train Show & Sale, on Saturday March 21st 2020 has been CANCELLED. With everything going on, we have pulled the plug on the Show. No rescheduling just CANCELLED. Next Show will be on November 14th 2020. NUTS!!! And all our work[renting tables, getting the Show coordinated, getting the Hall ready] is DOWN THE DRAIN. If you can read between the lines, you can see, I'm NOT HAPPY about this.

There is also notice that the NMRA, MCR, Div 7 Lakota Show, THIS SATURDAY, March 14th has been CANCELLED.

    Double NUTS!!!

Feel your pain. They canceled a local show at the end of March that we were looking forward too.

What we are REALLY worried about is @pbender and company having to cancel the Ohio N Scale weekend in May. This is our first year displaying, so we are really hoping they get this corona virus hysteria under wraps soon.
Luckily that is 2 months away, so hopefully everything/ everybody calms down by then.

I'm not allowed to run the train, the whistle I can't blow. I'm not allowed to say how fast the Railroad Train can go.
I'm not allowed to shoot off steam, nor even clang the bell. But let the damned Train jump the track, and see who catches hell!

If you don't want the way it's going in Italy now , you will have to close down a lot more then some train shows, and believe me from Europe it is not a media hype. Oh , and keeping Europeans out of the US will not stop it , as long as someone can still fly from Washington State or California to any place in the US.
As long as I can model in N-scale, I know I'm not old

We aren’t considering that right now.

Personally I am taking a wait and see approach to the show. hopefully by then the governor will lift them 100 person maximum limit for gatherings.

I guess that they will never get it. That this stuff is worse than the flu. Hang on USA we are only getting started. This is this could have already been slowed down to a halt too.
    Cheers!
