This weekend has been good for me and my motivation - it's great how much stuff you can get done when you start doing stuff

Glued a pair of 0402 LEDs to this trailer as rear clearance lights. Can you find them? No? Good, so they don't stand out when not lit

Also sorted through the wiring chaos underneath the module I showed yesterday and it's neighbor. Only thing missing now are the module-to-module cables, then they're operational.

And did a first build up test of my Maricopa Ethanol module (all six sections, total of 4.8m ~ 16ft, sections 2 and 5 can be left out for a shorter overall length). This also helped me to verify I have enough track and all the turnouts (except for a pair of #10s for an extra crossover, but as mentioned in the "What are you buying" thread, they are on their way...

And on a more organizational note, I had to pack two pairs of modules to make space for my current projects, so I took the chance to replace the cheap cam buckle straps with (equally cheap) ratchet straps. Much better - they don't slacken when using the strap as a handle:

A photo a day keeps the moose stampedes away!

    Here's what I'm working on:

This is a riverbed scene and will represent the Snake River in Washington and Idaho.

Here are my Central Valley Models 150' truss bridges merged into a single two span bridge:

This will be the Union Pacific mainline. The bridge just needs details added and it will be ready for painting.

This photo shows the scene with the Burlington Northern mainline trestle crossing mocked up:

This steel trestle is a Micro Engineering bridge with Faller/Nock/Kibri/Can't remember trusses that will be bashed into a longer span and underslung. It is a long way from being completed.

Default N Scale Architect Diesel Fueling Kit

I spent the last week working on the N Scale Architect Diesel Fueling Kit. It was a fun kit to build. Instructions were fairly good but I built it to the dimensions that were given in the instructions and found out that they didnít provide enough copper wire to make all the piping from. Fortunately I had some 0.039Ē music wire which was the same size as the copper wire they provided.

I still need to do a bit of touch up the the paint, weather it a bit more, place it permanently on my layout, and of course landscaping.

I guess it's still the week beginning Apr 3rd, although we have started into the Easter weekend here

I got some paper straws and made another, smaller ditch pipe, plus spread some "mud" around the two. Now to let that dry and then add some grass...

I also sanded those six modules for Maricopa straight and flled them with foam. No pictures of that, going to make some noise and dust tomorrow.

I admire your track ballasting skills more than the straw.
