Your not the only one who needs a bigger layout! I'm planning to increase mine considerably and still don't know if I can fit everything I already have on it.

From eBay, various stuff: a 16 VAC to 5 VDC converter, two similar AC-DC converter kits to add my own voltage regulator, some optical fibre for head- and tail lights on the TEE Gottardo, and (now that I was paying shipping anyway) a roll of thin solder.

The AC-DC converters are for concept testing. I plan to install a 16 VAC feeder through my modules for accessories (can't use track power as per Fremo std) and then derive any local DC voltages on each modules as needed.

I don't know how I pulled this off? I actually won my FIRST Hallmark locomotive less than $80! Supposedly never have been used, from an estate sale! Free shipping to boot!! I will post photos of it whenever I receive it though I will have it in hand due to my upcoming flight. I will need to get a display case for this one! I know that these are finicky for running. So this will be for display only. I will be converting the rest of my other locomotives to DCC about half are already

Just ordered 4 of these (different numbers) from Midwest Model Railroad:

Atlas 50004240 - ACF 60ft Pax Coach NYC:

These will be repainted to the Royal Pacific Railway scheme, OR, another paint scheme depending on how I feel

The one thing I should have done, and didn't, was to check their minimum radius
    Cheers Tony

    ScaleTrains flipped me again!!

My buddy sent me a link to the sale on adding sound at a discount, so naturally I had to jump in as the prices are crazy good. So now I have two dash9 Operator(less detailed) units along with the decoders and speakers at about $160 each, total, on the way. SP of course.

Ordered through my local hobby shop. Paid $13 more than I would have from M.B. Klein but gotta try to keep LHS in business. We did have a screw up on it as I ordered two #6 turnouts and he ordered #4s. The wood filler I got from Lowe's, which is right next door to my LHS. Handy that. The garage will go with one of the houses I built. I tried to get a different garage for each house.
Cheers all and have a nice weekend.
