Default Brandon Hills Model Railroad Club

Located north of Brandon, Manitoba at the Brandon Airport. We are in a H-Hut of the Commonwealth Air Training Plan Museum.

There is a HO layout that nearly complete, and a N scale layout that is still in the process of being built. The N scale is 30'x6'

    Default The plan

This is the general track plan for the N scale layout. The main lines are Atlas Code 55, the rest will be Code 80. Digitrax DCC system will be used with a PR3 and JMRI control.

That is a nice plan. You maybe able to get more track length on your staging yard if you go with a compound ladder system.

I really love the DC Heritage area.

Lots of progress on the layout since I last posted. Most of the track is laid, scenery has progressed around the lake area. I just started using a Raspberry Pi 4 running JMRI. Most of our turnouts are being controlled by a Walthers Layout Control System. I have pictures on the club Facebook page.
