Default Rivarossi Big Boy, Coupler, motor and DCC conversion.

    Greetings All,
I have been advised that this is the site to be on, I am a English modeler who just happens to have a some American rolling stock. One of which is the Rivarossi/Con-Cor Big Boy, which I am trying to bring up to date, I have already changed the couplers from Rapido to Micro Trains, and in the middle of the DCC and motor conversion.
There is a thread on the uk "N Gauge Forum" which I have been updating the progress on.

One of the comment was that you guys have probably been there and done it already, so here I am wondering if anyone has and knows the in and outs of converting the Big Boy?
I did do a forum search but I came out with nothing.
    Looking for experience.
    Have fun and keep well.

Victor Miranda or Doug Gosha are two names that come to mind. If they don't know, probably no one does.

I was just going to put the speaker in the tender, but if I get a reply from Richmond Controls about the tender pick-ups I may add those and a rear lamp.
The problem with the Big Boy is the options for routing wires between loco and tender is limited and I would rather just have 2 wires than 6.
    Anyway, anything is possible.
Have fun and keep playing the game.
