    Default Microengineering turnout question

looking at doing a layout now that I have a room. Time and money not so much.
As it seams Atlas code 55 turnouts are no in stock anywhere ( at least my suppliers)
Can get Microengineering code 55 #6 and I have a lot of Atlas code 55 flex.
The question is how do the mate up and how DCC friendly are they?
    thanks

ME turnouts are DCC friendly and will work with Atlas flex. You may need the thinnest of shims under the flex. I use Atlas code 55 rail joiners.

It's about a toss up between ME and Atlas code 55. They will match up with no problem. The ME's look just a bit better, but it's in how you look them. I do like to keep the ME's upfront, closest to the viewer/visitor. Both ME and Atlas can be hard to find sometimes. That is why I'm getting into the HANDLAYING option. And the idea that I can make the turnout fit the situation not have it the other way around.
