    Ahhh, Moose miss you guys...

One major problem with posting photos: Moose's laptop die; hard drive developed a fatal error and cannot even boot up...

I think I can safely say we missed you as well Moose, now I am sure there are some who need stampeding for not posting enough pictures but I assume as I cared so much I get a get out of stampede free card.

    Why yes, yes you do!

Now, if Moose could only figure out how to uphold the photo posting rules without having to stampede moose-self (no working computer makes posting photos kinda trickular fer da Moose)...

Good to see you again Moose. I hope you had everything backed up.

A few years back somebody decided that they needed my computer more than I did. Fortunately I was using a backup service, so once I got a new computer it downloaded everything and was back in business.

If the problem with the hard drive effects the boot sector then it is likely some of the data can be saved, it really depends on the failure. There are companies that will do that recovery for you or you can do it yourself. I would imagine that you will be able to get most data off once you can boot up the computer, it will most likely be a case of how to mount the drive.

    Re: ...Chasing other moose's...

Shouldn't the 'correct' plural of 'Mooses' be 'Meese'?

(Just asking; English language 'Plurals' can be quite entertaining).
