It has been 4 or 5 days, so it's time for an update. Two projects shown here.

#1 - KW with day cab body load and pup unit that will be black, white, beige. I drove this unit "back in my day"
After the paint dries for 3 or 4 days I'll mask off and put the beige on the bottom of the tanks, white on the upper 2/3 of the cab, and finally the black on the trough rails.............

The 2nd project is in the background of this image. It will be painted in a more current Chevron scheme of white and gray.

Good Corona project and I really enjoy making the trucks. Did I mention that I am a 33 year veteran of the Chevron wars. Go figure?

    Be well! ! !

It has been another week, so here are some update photos. I have added the 2nd color to each rig. The cab over needs to have black added to the overflow troughs and curbs and the cab needs to be masked and white added...........

The second rig is a more recent paint scheme of white/grey. I need to paint the rails and trough on top.

Here is 1/2 of my project that is basically complete. I will check it over for needed tweaks and then spray with gloss decal sealer. This is a truck that I drove for Chevron U.S.A. Inc. out of their Albuquerque, New Mexico terminal back in the late 1960's. Attempting to bring it back too life from my memory really opened up some great and some not so great memories. A lot of fun and work was put into this one.

The 2nd truck is almost complete as well so I'll keep you posted on the more recent paint scheme.

Thanks for looking and stay well,

Here is the 2nd truck build. I think it is finished but after studying these images, I may find some needed fixes....................................

A little light grey wash on the grill and wheels would get some of those details to pop for you. Regardless, fantastic job on these.
