I retired this antique grain truck....

....and replaced it with a more modern one -

I frankensteined it together by combining a Con-Cor Kenworth tractor with a Shapeways grain box and chassis -

Oh yeah, I also finished the elevator office and scale. 10+ years into this layout and the elevator is finally open for business

All really incredible photos Mark. Posting the real photos for comparison and seeing just how accurate your modeling is is a great idea.
Also like your CP Rail hopper advert, it'd fit right in with @Bremner's easter egg thing...

Finally added some signs to the local bar, and nothing says cheap beer like Brew 102….and nothing says Cold War like a Fallout Shelter sign….

I have been working on some freight cars for a friend. I finished off 10 more in this batch, here are some of the highlights:

I have installed all of the Grandt Line doors and windows and I made the sliding doors on the long side.
I accidentally made the dock a little bit too long, but easy to fix. I am now looking for an interior and skylights. The roof is going to be tar paper.

Hey, wait a minute! What's happened to the Skally Line, Karl? Although the WC's White Pine Sub is an excellent modeling subject. (Come to think of it, I like anything Wisconsin Central.)

And those UB cars looks great. Didn't know custom decals were available for N scale.

Paul, I sold the Skally and it’s rolling stock to a friend here in Vegas. The real Skally lost its 2 largest customers and is now primarily a car storage line. I looked around and the White Pine checks a lot of boxes for me. I started laying track today. With a little luck I’ll have most of the track down this month and I’ll be working on scenery by the 4th of July.

Looking forward to seeing the new layout come together, Karl.

I experienced something similar when I was considering modeling the Meeker Southern in the Tacoma area. They stopped delivering new cardboard in boxcars to Commencement Bay Corrugated, a specialty packaging manufacturer, located at the end of the 4.5-mile line. A lot of traffic went away.

This weekend was all about buildings and running my 3D printer.

Assembled and painted 3 more buildings for my town module.

The company house and detail pieces are off of Thingiverse . The interior rooms is something I am trying to do to help me light individual rooms easier.

With Hope basically finished, I finally got a chance to move up to the Waseca yard and do some stuff there -

I actually have a small update. USPS delivered a couple ScaleTrains Operator SP dash9's plus decoders and speakers. Although I wish I had not cancelled my Rivet Counters these will fit in just fine. One of the units uncoupling levers were twisted up and these things are spring loaded. I had a hell of a time gluing them in place. I bet if I left them alone they would relax and return to the original intended shape. Both had issues with the small sound decoder separating from the mother board once the shell went on and was secured. Seems there was a bit of flash inside the shell that required light filing and I took a bit off the decoder to. They run nice but very different. I was able to speed match and the sound is at a nice level.

Great detail. Is that tank one of Ngineer's 3d printed products, or something else?

Thanks, OTFan. I made the tank using parts from a Walthers "Storage Tank" set (also some bondo putty to make the rounded top). Finished it off with a GMM safety cage ladder and various bits of styrene rod.

Finished installing some shelving in the train room.
