    Picked up Tru Color Boxcar Red paint and I have K4 PE caboose decals on order.....I plan to shoot the caboose tomorrow morning after work, before it hits 90°

    I measured some of mine and the average turned out to be 0.79 +/- 0.02

    5/64 = 0.78125

    I took a 5/64″ dril bit and reammed out the bolster holes. I still have to add the windows, grab irons, decals and couplers…I have her sitting on Bettendorf trucks for now…

    Thank you for your help. You won't know why, but looking at your above photo have learnt something new today. The wire to hold the caboose, rather than the alligator clips. I could not work out how to use my clamps without damaging what ever i was clamping, thanks.
