    Default scraped anutter one

ok so i had to scraped my layout. neighbor hit a rock with his mower and it came trough my window so now the window guy has to have access to the area. grrrrrrr. had to tear it all out. but any who this gave me an opportunity for a new restart. so i found this plan some where and decided to build something in this order roughly 8foot x 24" 30" on one end. not sure what im gunna do with the tracks leading out yet maybe a yard maybe to another town ?????? i dunno. any thoughts ?????
i know i want one train pulling long cars for continuous running and some switching here an there , lumber yard someplace junk yard will be on the tracks leading out (i think ). town along the road there.

yup he paying for window. i just ordered a whole new the entire window frame an all one of them new fangled plastic frame jobbers with dual pain . im remodeling the whole house so might as well put in new window not just the glass. any who this is what ive got so far till the window man comes and replaces the entire thing. once that window is in ill build a 1 foot wide table accross that window area then add another bigger area past the window. that way future window repairs wont be so dramatic . i really hated tearing that all down. it was 11 foot long by 9 foot along the wall and the other wall that was i think10 foot or so . kinda like a big U

Board up that window and call it a day. Use window money to buy train stuff.

i would do that but gunna sell the house after i get it all fixed up. i got to make my money back plus 80000. then i can move out to the woods where people are not around me for miles. i hate people , they drive me nuts. this is prime example window broken because of stupid move (didnt put the flapper down on the mower )

ok its been awhile now but i have started the rebuild and this is my new layout. got all the track laid ect. started on a bit of scenery . ran some trains around it. work good so far. im changing things as i go along . its not double track like i wanted but it works so far. im open for some ideas. things ive changed include it can be dismantled sorta in case i have another window fiasco . got a tunnel going on, junk yard is coming along, got a bridge printed out an on one end of layout, but i think im going to move it to the tunnel area and put a road up there?? its sitting idle right now no time to work on it. but i do try to get 15 or 20 minute here an there.

Did you ever make any plans for when you have to move and take this layout apart? Planned seams, casters, whatever might work for you to allow you to move this to a new place when you move.

Ive been thinking about a shed here lately something around 10x 12 foot. Maybe on wheels. as it sits right now i can take out the section along the window. its not very bad to move but i do need two people to move it.ive decided to not work much on the part in the window area. till i get a shed just for me hobbies, just looking for the right deal.

Unless prestressed concrete is involved, most other curved bridges really aren't curved. They consist of shorter straight sections mated at angles.

You know ive never really looked at a bridge haha , maybe thats what i need to do. I was thinking of a slight curve so as to not have any pointy areas. Thanks

ok so ive got the bridge worked out for now. Got some guard rails printed and installed , need to print more . they print pretty fast. had to redesign the bridge a bit to make it a lil longer.
Note on that road that i bought : once its stuck down its stuck down good i tried to lift an inch or so NOPE that's not gunna happen . ill print some more guard rails today and work a lil bit more on the layout.
