    Default Trainjunkies?

I'm about to place an order with "Trainjunkies" https://www.trainjunkies.com/ for several backdrops.

What I see looks pretty good, but does anybody have experience with them or their product?

    Cheers,
    Rob

@Spookshow has: http://spookshow.net/layout6s.html and http://spookshow.net/layout6t.html (search for "backdrop" in there)

Maybe he'll jump in here with more info, but there already is a lot on his blog.

    Hope this helps,
    Heiko

Their stuff is terrific, I couldn't recommend it more highly. William is very accommodating and a real pleasure to work with. Don't be afraid to ask for tweaks (move this here, move that there, make this smaller, make that bigger, add this, remove that, etc)

They look great. I wish they offered Appalachian Mountains in late winter.

    Thanks for your replies.
I have just been in touch with William, who, coincidentally, is a WP fan.
One of the backdrops I need is where I have a river just ending against a wall. I mentioned this to him and he told me to send him a photo and some measurements and he can put a river anywhere I want it.
I will definitely be doing business with him soon.
    Thanks again.
    Cheers,

PS; I asked the same question on TrainBoard, a place I usually dont go near. I had 2 replies. One was helpful then this....."Locking this thread as it violates Trainboard retailer policy".
Eh? Its a sad state of affairs when, for the good of the hobby, you ask for advice about a vendors product and then get shut down for it. Now I remember why I made the decision, many years ago, that nSn was the best forum on the entire WWW. I'll go back to the other one, delete all my info, log off and not go back again.
    Long live nScale.net.

I saw that on TB Rob and I was just shaking my head. But if it was one of their sponsors then it's OK. C'mon this is 2020. I don't know of any forums, no matter what interest, that won't let you discuss non-sponsoring vendors. Weird!

But then again it's their rules. The best you could do is don't go back, which you are doing.

Nice looking backdrops. I particularly like the snow storm approaching.

I ended up placing an order with William and he has been in regular contact with me ever since, fine tuning the order.
This guy is amazing. He has been and still is, bending over backwards to give me exactly what I want. Suggesting things from the drawings and photos I sent him, like adding a River in one backdrop, reversing the image in a coupe of others, extending a road intersection in another. He's "transitioned" the 3 backdrops that I was happy just to have as a mirror image of each other, so they don't look like they're a mirror image of each other. I'm confident that my layout is going to look fabulous when they're in place.
William's thoroughly professional and if the finished product is as good as the service and the efforts he's putting in, I'll be very happy indeed. And you know, if it wasn't for this forum, I wouldn't have known about him and would have put up with my own, third rate, painted backgrounds.
I have no connections with William or Trainjunkies, other than that I'm a customer.

The backdrops arrived yesterday. (15 days from Utah to OZ isn't bad in these circumstances)
They're 12 inches high with one of them 240 inches (20') long and the other 80 inches (6'8"). On inspection they're better than I was expecting and I know I've spent my money well.
William recommends using either double sided tape or spray glue to attach them. I decided on double sided 3M Scotch tape, and bought some on eBay last night.
When they're installed I'll dig up this thread again and attach some photos.
    Cheers,

FWIW, I went with the self-adhesive vinyl. It's a lot easier to deal with IMO.
